If East Tennessee is going to continue to be the unique natural place that local people love and that attracts visitors, we need to become committed to preventing the introduction and spread of invasive exotic plants like kudzu, privet, autumn olive, mimosa, nonnative honeysuckle, and purple loosestrife.
