I think it is crazy that Hwy 33 which passes straight through Union County is in good shape for all those who are only passing through, but once you turn off the highway the secondary and tertiary roads are in horrible disrepair! It is silly and not financially feasible, nor is it desirable to try to push alternative transportation in our rural counties, instead of taking care of the roads we have so that we can take better care of our cars and tires! Lets leave the silly "bridge to nowhere" political correctness behind and not waste our resources on such useless ideas and invest in what will really benefit the most people.
